Lakeview Christian School is committed to quality education based on Christian principles and academic excellence.  Our small class sizes and small school environment, coupled with our time-tested, successful curricula, and safe, positive, moral learning environment provide children with the strong academic foundation and principles they need to succeed throughout the rest of their lives.
CURRICULUM:  The majority of our curriculum is published by Bob Jones University.  BJU Press provides educational materials written from a non-denominational, biblical perspective that focuses on academic rigor and encourages critical thinking—all supported by appropriate educational technology. While this curriculum is our guide, teachers focus on State Standards to drive their teaching and use a variety of resources to ensure students are meeting their grade level goals.

ENRICHMENT:  Along with our strong academics, Lakeview provides a variety of enrichment programs including weekly art classes, daily physical education, Accelerated Reader, computers, and music.  We are working to develop our outdoor classroom for gardening and also as a way to bring nature into all curriculum areas.  Each year, all students perform a school-wide musical production.  We offer after-school enrichment activities such as chapel club, drama club, and Mathcounts.  We also offer guest speakers and educational and cultural field trips including AgVenture, Archbold Biological Station, MOSI, South Florida State College plays, and an overnight field trip to St. Augustine taken every three years.  On campus special activities include Fire Safety Day, Literature Week, a Book Character Parade, and Field Day.  Students are blessed by the small class sizes, personal attention, and variety of enrichment opportunites provided at Lakeview.
